In our working life, communication with our team and customers takes up to 70% of our working time. There are types of people who have difficulties communicating online or offline. Sometimes, we can be misunderstood by other people.
In this talk, I am going to share with you my methods of how to establish a process of communication with your team members and customers.
Demo: how to keep up your courage in any situations
During software development, the team needs to demonstrate interim results of performed work. This helps to get feedback from the customer. Often the demo is conducted by the QA team, as exactly this team knows the software better. But almost every QA faces such issues like fear of public presentations (glossophobia), lack of self-confidence, fear of failure, uncertainty in the level of English (because they are mostly international teams using English for communication) and so on.
But it is not a secret that a good presentation of the project is the key to a good overall result. How can we reach that?
In this talk, the stages of preparation for the demo will be considered, both psychological and project. The talk contains years of practice in conducting demos, which will be useful to any QA for excellent work.
