27.07.2016

WEB API  is fun to test because such tests are easy to automatize even without vast knowledge and skills in programming.
I'll tell you about about a simple way to make manual testing into test automation and which tools might be helpful.
This report will be most helpful to manual QA engineers who face the necessity  to test WEB API and want to simplify and automatize  their work without losing much time.

Little cemetery of bugs

04.03.2015

There is a saying about doctors - every doctor has his own "little cemetery". And it is the same for QA engineers: every one of us can recall different embarrassing situations when the mistakes that went unnoticed and weren't detected in time caused a lot of problems to users. I've been working for 4 years and my own "little cemetery" has grown quite big. I decided to dedicate my report to this experience. And even though it is good to learn from mistakes, I hope that you will get some feedback from this report and will be able to reduce the number of your own mistakes.

Automation for lazy QA. Selenium + Python + Behave (BDD)

30.01.2014
At some point each tester starts thinking about automation. Fairly often the attempts to implement it end in two-three tests. But what can be done when there is no time and no experience? So, how can the process of test writing be speeded up and simplified? How can they be made useful for support and operation? And how not to overwork yourself? Our answer is Selenium + Python + Behave. We will tell about the road we went, until we have found the decision that can do everything for us, and about the time we spent to implement. Together with you we will write the scenario from the very beginning and run the first test.
